Exercise classes

Are you looking for a fun and social way to get in shape? Look no further than our exercise classes at Everybody Physio!

Our classes are led by experienced physiotherapists or exercise physiologists, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for getting fit and staying injury-free. Plus, you’ll meet new people and have lots of fun while you’re at it!

PILATES  

If you’re looking for a workout that will help you tone up, look no further than our Group Pilates Classes. You’ll focus on flexibility, strength, and core stability while having a great time in a supportive group setting.

Pilates is also great for people who are looking to rehabilitate an injury. Our classes are specifically designed to help with chronic conditions such as low back pain or hip pain. 

Our classes are only 40 minutes long, so you can easily fit them into your busy schedule.

Deep water Aqua aerobics 

Aqua aerobics classes are the perfect way to improve your strength and fitness without putting extra stress on your joints!

Our heated indoor hydrotherapy pool is kept at a comfortable temperature of 32-34 degrees celsius, so you can enjoy all the benefits without any pain. You’ll notice a decrease in pain and stiffness and an increase in strength and range of movement.

STRENGTH AND STABILITY 

Have you recently experienced a fall, or are you concerned about experiencing a fall?

Our Strength and Balance Class is composed of exercises that have been proven to reduce falls among older people. This class is the perfect opportunity for you to learn how to reduce your risk of falls.

In a supervised environment, you will be able to keep active, stay independent, and boost your confidence.

DIABETES MANAGEMENT

Have you been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, or are you at risk of developing diabetes?

Our diabetes group classes are designed to improve your blood glucose levels and overall health. In addition to our aerobic and resistance exercises, we also offer weekly 30 minute educational sessions to increase your knowledge and understanding of diabetes.

With our group class format, you’ll have the support of others and get regular access to an expert who can answer all of your questions. We will help you make positive lifestyle changes to manage your diabetes and live a healthier life.

Hip and Knee recovery class

Our Hip and Knee recovery class is a group class for those who have recently had hip and knee replacements. It is a supervised class ran by our Physios and Exercise Physiologists designed to support you in your continued rehabilitation.

 

  • Initial and final assessments conducted by a physiotherapist, with your improvements reported back to your surgeon/GP
  • Personalised exercise program tailored specifically to your needs
  • Unlimited access to our hydrotherapy pool for 8 weeks
  • Supervised by a physiotherapist & accredited exercise physiologist to ensure your safety
