HOW MUCH DOES PHYSIOTHERAPY COST?
Our initial assessment fee is $90 and any subsequent appointments are $80 each. We accept cash, credit card and EFTPOS payment methods. We also have HICAPS available at reception for private health fund claims. We accept DVA, workers compensation and enhanced primary care program patients.
CAN I CLAIM ANY OF MY TREATMENT UNDER MEDICARE?
Patients who have a chronic medical condition that has been or is likely to be present for 6 months or longer may be entitled to a Medicare rebate (item 10960 – $52.95). The rebate is available for a maximum of 5 services per patient each calendar year. If you believe you are eligible for this rebate you need to discuss it further with your GP. Your GP can complete an enhanced program care program for you if eligible.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE A PHYSIOTHERAPIST?
If you are paying privately for your physiotherapy appointments then you do not need a referral however if a third party is paying e.g Medicare, DVA & Insurance companies then you must present us with a GP referral.
CAN I CLAIM USING MY PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
Yes, we have a HICAPS facility at the reception desk which we can use to claim on the spot using your private health insurance. The amount your insurance company pays is dependant on your individual policy, if you would like to find out how much coverage you have then please contact your private health insurance provider to discuss. If your provider does not cover the entire appointment cost you will need to cover the gap left of the appointment fee. If you are with BUPA insurance you will be happy to know that we are a preferred BUPA provider.
WHO WILL PROVIDE MY TREATMENT?
When you call or email to book in for treatment our friendly staff will assess which physiotherapist will be best to see you. Visit our About Us page to see our team of therapists.
